Twin Surfboards Linocut Print

Hand-carved and printed in my coastal California studio, this 5x7 linocut print pairs two retro-inspired surfboards in teal and navy — the kind of boards that lean against a sun-bleached garage and carry salt in their fins.

This is a two-tone print, meaning each color is inked and pressed separately by hand. No two prints align exactly the same way, no two ink layers land with identical weight. Slight overlaps, soft edges, and the occasional ghost of a second impression are all part of it. That's not a flaw — that's the print telling you it was made by a person, not a machine.

Each impression is pulled by hand using archival ink on high-quality archival paper.
